The Ballroom Dancing group meet on Friday afternoons from 2.30pm – 4.30pm in Portstewart Town Hall.
Piret, a professional dance teacher, travels from Belfast to take the lessons and is dedicated to the advancement of social dance in Northern Ireland and to giving people the skills to go and enjoy themselves on the dance floor.
The first part of the lesson is a standard ballroom dance such as waltz, quickstep or Foxtrot. We have a break in the middle and then the second part is usually a fun dance such as jive, rumba, tango or even a small sequence dance.
If you would be interested in joining our group or have any questions please contact Ann Hickson who is the Animator for the group.
