Meetings

Causeway U3A meets on the first Thursday of each month in Portstewart Golf Club at 11:00. From September to March, this is a general meeting with a guest speaker. The AGM is in April. During the summer, there is no general meeting but members come along for tea/coffee and scones in the Golf Club Restuarant from 10:30 for an hour or so.

At the meetings with speakers, members arrive for a chat over tea/coffee from 10:30 and the meeting itself begins at 11:00. There is a short update on U3A activities or other matters likely to be of local interest, followed by a guest speaker or speakers. The meeting closes around 12:15 with the option of staying for lunch.

Guests or prospective new members are welcome to come along and sample a meeting. Members and guests pay an admission charge of £1 with an optional £1.50 to the Golf club for tea or coffee.
