Discounts have been negotiated for Causeway U3A members with local suppliers:
 Blackmore Fuels will give a discount of £5.00 on a fill of heating oil on confirmation of your name and Causeway U3A membership number. Their telephone number is 2076 2266 and email is blackmorefuels@hotmail.co.uk.
 Divine! Wines in Portstewart and Coleraine will give a 12.5% discount on a case of wine (not applicable to special offers) on production of your membership card. Our own expert, Brian McDowell selects a Wine of the Month for members to try. The links for his recommendations have been moved to the Wine Appreciation page.
Members are encouraged to visit the national U3A website at www.u3a.org.uk and register for the “members area” where a menu of benefits for members is displayed. Among the items mentioned, reference is made there to the website www.software4students.co.uk which presently offers to eligible students the full Professional Plus edition of Office 2010 software for £38.95 as opposed to an RRP of £429.99. A range of other Microsoft products is also offered along with Kaspersky Antivirus software. When registering as users of the website, U3A members purchasing software should state their educational institution as “Third Age Trust (U3A)”. Adobe software offered on this website is not available to U3A members.

Causeway U3A Members have asked for a listing of local tradespeople nominated by members and this can be downloaded by clicking on the link opposite. Please note that members should check local trade directories for a more complete listing and Causeway U3A are not responsible for any work that may be carried out.

Programme cards for the new season are mailed to all members in mid summer each year. A copy can also be downloaded from the link opposite. Print and fold the A4 sheet twice to give a handy sized programme card.
