There is a group meeting with a guest speaker on the first Thursday of the month in the Strand Road Clubhouse of Portstewart Golf Club at 11:00 am (from September to March). Prospective new members or guests are welcome to come along and sample the meeting. Just ask at the door and a committee member will be happy to make you welcome and answer any questions. Tea/Coffee is available from 10:30 am. The 2012-13 programme of speakers can be seen on the sub-menu Meetings of the What We Do Page. There will be a coffee morning, without a speaker, at the usual meeting time in May, June, July and August.
We organise many classes and activities. Most run weekly in 2 terms, with sessions from September to December and from January to April. A limited number run all year round. They fall into categories which can be best described as having mainly Health, Learning or Social benefits. Of course some could be put in more than one category but, for all of them, our aim is enjoyment. You can read more about these on the sub-menu Activities of the What We Do Page with more details on individual activities under the sub-menus of the Health, Learning and Social Pages.
Let us know if there is an activity you would like to see running or one you would be happy to organise. All that's needed is a little enthusiasm and some participants.
