Causeway U3A is for all retired or semi-retired people in the Causeway area of Northern Ireland who want to enjoy a good social life. We organise a wide range of classes and activities for our 900 members to help keep them active in mind and body. Members are free to take part in as many, or as few, of our activities as they wish and no qualifications are needed to take part.
Most activities run weekly in 2 terms (September - December and January - April). A few run all year round. They fall into categories as having mainly Health, Learning or Social benefits. Some could be put in more than one category but, for all of them, our aim is enjoyment. For more information check out What We Do page and the sub-menus of the Health, Learningand Socialpages. Let us know if there is an activity you would like to see running or one you would be happy to organise. All that's needed is a little enthusiasm and some participants.
FIRST Thursday of the month in Portstewart Golf Club @ 11:00 am (September -March). To view a programme of speakers click Meetings. Prospective new members or guests are welcome to come along and sample the meeting. Just ask at the door and a committee member will be happy to make you welcome and answer any questions. Tea/Coffee is available from 10:30 am.
During the summer months (May - August) there will be a coffee morning, without a speaker, at the usual meeting time.
