Beacon emails vs Spam
Causeway u3a uses the Beacon membership management system which was developed for u3as by u3as. It includes an email system that allows activity leaders and committee to communicate with members in a way that is compliant with data protection regulations.
The email system is very active in protecting members from spam and junk emails and sometimes it kicks in when it's not expected to -- much of what it does is dependent on the settings on your computer.
If you find that the spam filters on your computer are too active, you may find help in the attached document.
